Alissa Merkle

Alissa Merkle serves as Controller at TRITEC Building Company, overseeing the accounting team and leading the company's financial reporting, accounting operations, and financial controls. Since joining TRITEC in 2002, Alissa has played an integral role in the organization's growth, helping to strengthen financial processes, improve operational efficiency, and provide leadership with the information needed to make sound business decisions. In June 2027, she will become the first woman in TRITEC's history to reach the 25-year milestone.

Throughout her career at TRITEC, Alissa has helped guide the evolution of the company's accounting and financial operations. She oversees all accounting functions, including financial reporting, audits, compliance, and financial process management, while working closely with auditors, tax professionals, consultants, and executive leadership. Her commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement has helped establish a strong foundation for TRITEC's financial operations.

Alissa has been instrumental in implementing systems and processes that have enhanced efficiency and transparency across the organization. She played a leading role in TRITEC's transition from Sage to Yardi, helping modernize financial reporting, improve workflow management, and strengthen financial controls throughout the company. A graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Alissa later earned her MBA in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. Her combination of financial expertise, operational knowledge, and institutional experience provides a unique perspective that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning.
