Nicole Ekberg

Nicole Ekberg serves as a Project Coordinator at TRITEC Building Company, where she provides critical administrative and operational support to project teams throughout the construction lifecycle. Now in her eighth year with TRITEC, Nicole helps ensure projects progress efficiently by coordinating and managing project documentation, contracts, schedules, and stakeholder communications.

In her role, Nicole oversees project files, maintains contract and change order documentation, and supports permitting, compliance, safety documentation, and project closeout activities. She serves as a liaison among project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and clients, helping ensure information is communicated accurately and on time. Her structured approach keeps projects organized, compliant, and moving forward from preconstruction through completion.

Nicole brings more than a decade of experience in operational coordination and process management. Prior to joining TRITEC, she spent 11 years at a law firm specializing in Social Security Disability cases, where she advanced from Reviewer and Casework Supervisor to Legal Assistant for the Senior Attorney. Her experience managing complex documentation, coordinating daily operations, and supporting legal professionals established the foundation for the organizational and communication skills she brings to her role today.

One of Nicole’s most memorable projects was The Wel in Lindenhurst, the first project she coordinated independently. Managing the project through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic strengthened her adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to supporting project teams under changing conditions.

Nicole holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies, which helped develop the attention to detail, organization, and documentation management skills that are critical to her role in construction project coordination.
