Meaghan Coughlan Treat

Meaghan Coughlan Treat serves as Chief Operating Officer of TRITEC Real Estate Company, where she is responsible for aligning people, processes, and resources across the firm's development, construction, asset management, finance, human resources, risk management, and corporate services functions. Working closely with TRITEC's ownership and senior leadership team, she helps drive organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide initiatives that support the company's long-term growth and success.

Prior to becoming COO, Meaghan played a key role in TRITEC's development platform, overseeing financial modeling, capitalization, governance, and execution for major projects, including Station Yards, Long Island's largest mixed-use transit-oriented development. She also helped drive enterprise-wide initiatives focused on technology modernization, artificial intelligence adoption, and enterprise-wide risk management, supporting the company's continued growth and operational effectiveness.

Before joining TRITEC, Meaghan worked in public accounting and real estate investment management. She began her career in the Real Estate Tax Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later joined Angelo Gordon's real estate investment platform, where she focused on tax structuring for institutional investors, fund tax compliance, and investor reporting. 

Meaghan is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bucknell University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate, where she received scholarships from Professional Women in Construction (PWC) and Women in Real Estate (WiRE). She currently serves on the Board of Trustees at St. Anthony’s High School and is a member of Women Economic Developers of Long Island (WEDLI). Meaghan is currently completing the Wharton Executive Education Emerging COO Program, focused on enterprise leadership, organizational effectiveness, and strategic execution.

Outside of work, Meaghan is drawn to experiences that combine growth, discipline, and adventure, including completing a yoga teacher training in Bali and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro.
