
Karthik Paladugu is a Preconstruction Estimating Engineer at TRITEC Building Company, joining in July 2025. He supports all phases of preconstruction, including architectural and engineering coordination, subcontractor scope development, bid preparation, pricing analysis, vendor research, and bid delivery. Karthik evaluates subcontractor proposals, coordinates scope coverage, prepares contract documents, and develops precise cost estimates to ensure effective project planning and execution.
Karthik collaborates with project teams, consultants, and trade partners, assisting with design and constructability reviews and identifying scope gaps and coordination issues. He helps facilitate a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction. His analytical skills and attention to detail support accurate budgeting, scheduling, and procurement for TRITEC’s projects.
Before joining TRITEC, Karthik was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Construction Cost Estimation and Risk Analysis at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, supporting coursework in quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and risk modeling. He also interned in project management at Floracon, assisting with public school renovation projects in New York City. Earlier, he worked as a Project Engineer in India, coordinating civil, structural, and utility infrastructure projects.
Karthik holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology.
