NoVa Science Center finalizes title sponsors; groundbreaking at Kincora in early 2024

Launch the Future Celebration event featuring Google and the Northern Virginia Science Center

The Northern Virginia Science Center announced this week it has reached title funding for all of the five future galleries at an event hosted at Google’s office in Reston, according to a press release.

“Google is interested in the Science Center because educating the next generation of scientists is critical to our future,” said Google’s Chief Internet Evangelist, Vint Cerf, in a statement. “Igniting kids’ interests in science and holding onto it is so important because they are the ones who are going to need to solve the problems the older generations created for tomorrow so we’re relying heavily on them.”

The Northern Virginia Science Center, a future interactive science museum located at Kincora in the Dulles Technology Corridor, will be a place for discovery, innovation and fun for curious minds of all ages, the release states.
