Kelley Coughlan Heck is an executive vice president of development for Tritec Real Estate Company. Since joining the company in 2014, Heck has focused on acquisition, entitlements, financing, leasing, business development projects and community engagement, underscoring the commitment the company has to earning the support of the communities Tritec serves. She also provides financial analysis, due diligence and recommendations on the development, planning and management of Tritec projects throughout the Long Island market.

Over the past decade, Tritec’s focus has primarily centered around transit-oriented, mixed-use and/or multifamily development projects, and Heck has worked through the development processes for The Shipyard in Port Jefferson, The Wel in Lindenhurst, Station Yards in Ronkonkoma and Shoregate in Bay Shore. Her passion for sustainability, environmental protection and smart growth is vital to the long-term success of the communities that Tritec creates and works in.

Founded in 1986 and headquartered on Long Island, Tritec is a family-owned, full-service commercial real estate firm with development, asset management and construction arms. Tritec has deep community ties and extensive experience developing, constructing and managing millions of square feet of office, residential, industrial, medical, retail and hospitality space. From Tritec’s roots on Long Island, to more recent projects in northern Virginia, Tritec has built its reputation around exceeding the expectations of its employees and customers, creating quality without compromise and delivering resounding results with heart.

Prior to joining Tritec, Heck worked at Bloomberg L.P., where she served as an account manager for equity buy-side clientele, specifically engaging portfolio and risk managers throughout the New York metropolitan area. She holds a Master of International Business degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, concentrating on the complexities that link international finance and environmental resource conservation, as well as a bachelor of arts in International Studies from Middlebury College, with a focus on Economics and Mandarin Chinese. She is a member of the Long Island Association’s young professionals committee, and serves on the boards of LIBI’s Long Island Home Builders Care, The Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University, New York League of Conservation Voters’ Long Island Chapter and Newsday’s Next LI advisory board.
