$256M Phase 2 begins at Ronkonkoma Hub

Phase 2 of the effort to remake the area around the Ronkonkoma Long Island Rail Road station will bring 388 apartments, 73,000 square feet of retail space and 15,590 square feet of office space in four mixed-use buildings on a 7.6-acre site on Hawkins Avenue.

Tritec and its development partners have just received economic incentives from the Town of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency for Phase 2 of the project.

“The IDA is excited to continue playing a key role in transforming Suffolk County,” Brookhaven IDA Chairman Frederick Braun said in a written statement. “The Ronkonkoma Hub project is pivotal to the growth of our region, and without assistance from the IDA it would not have gone forward.”
