Rendering of Station Yards Phase 2C

Station Yards in Ronkonkoma was recently highlighted among 20 major development projects poised to help shape the future of Long Island.

Developed by TRITEC Real Estate Company, Station Yards is a 53-acre, transit-oriented, mixed-use community surrounding the Ronkonkoma Long Island Rail Road station. At full buildout, the master plan calls for 1,450 residential homes, approximately 195,000 square feet of retail space and 360,000 square feet of commercial space, including office and medical uses.

The development is transforming formerly underutilized and industrial properties surrounding the Ronkonkoma station into a walkable downtown where residents and visitors can live, work, dine, shop and connect. More than 1,050 homes have already been delivered across the completed and current phases of the development, along with retail, office space, public gathering areas and significant infrastructure improvements.

The next chapter of Station Yards continues that growth. Phase 2C will add 285 residences and approximately 30,000 square feet of medical office space. Northwell Health plans to occupy the new medical space, expanding access to healthcare services within the transit-oriented community. The approximately $170 million phase is expected to be delivered in stages, with the first building planned for summer 2027 and the remaining buildings anticipated in spring 2028.

Station Yards represents TRITEC’s long-term vision for creating a connected, mixed-use destination around one of Long Island’s key transportation hubs while contributing new housing, businesses, healthcare services and public spaces to the Ronkonkoma community.
