Kelley Heck and Bob Coughlan Discuss TRITEC’s 40-Year Family Legacy at LIREG Panel

TRITEC co-president Kelley Heck and co-chairman Bob Coughlan joined Justin and Ken Breslin of the Breslin Organization on a Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG) panel about running a family real estate business, Long Island Business News reported.

Coughlan described TRITEC’s early days and the company’s recent leadership transition, which put the next generation in charge of day-to-day operations. Heck said being family does not guarantee anyone a role at TRITEC, and all of the panelists stressed keeping family and business separate.

“This is our 40th year,” Coughlan said. “When we started, we thought it was going to be two guys and a bookkeeper.”
