Bob Coughlan co-founded TRITEC Real Estate Company alongside his brother Jim in 1986, creating a culture rooted in community, integrity, and family. Together, the Coughlan brothers have transformed the regional real estate landscape and instilled TRITEC with a familial spirit that extends to its employees and the broader community. The company brings a thoughtful, integrated approach to development, harnessing a broad range of diverse disciplines ranging from financial structures to community affairs. TRITEC has successfully developed millions of square feet of property, earning its nationally respected reputation as a premier project delivery company recognized for its ability to anticipate the needs of the market and its management skills that allows it to build transformative projects on underutilized property into successful vibrant communities.

With his brother Jim, Bob guides development, construction and management of mixed-use complexes, apartment complexes, retail properties, industrial parks, mid-rise office buildings, hotels, medical office buildings, R&D facilities, and industrial buildings.

Bob also oversees site selection, acquisition, design, municipal approvals, financing, joint venture structuring, construction, leasing and sales of millions of square feet of commercial space.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern University and attended New York University’s Real Estate Institute between 1982 and 1985. He serves on the boards of the Long Island Housing Partnership, St. Anthony’s High School, Hope House Ministries and the Long Island Association.
