Mr. Robert Coughlan co-founded TRITEC Real Estate Company in 1986 with his brother Jim who together, created a company that would bring a thoughtful, integrated approach to development, harnessing a broad range of diverse disciplines ranging from financial structures to community affairs. Today, TRITEC has successfully developed millions of square feet of property, earning its nationally respected reputation as a premier project delivery company recognized for its ability to anticipate the needs of the market and its management skills that allows it to build successfully on time and on budget. 

With his brother Jim, Bob guides development, construction and management of mixed-use complexes, apartment complexes, industrial parks, midrise office buildings, hotels, medical office buildings, R&D facilities, and industrial buildings.

Mr. Coughlan also oversees site selection, acquisition, design, municipal approvals, financing, joint venture structuring, construction, and leasing/sales of millions of square feet of commercial space.

Mr. Coughlan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Northeastern University and attended New York University’s Real Estate Institute between 1982 and 1985. He serves on the boards of the Long Island Housing Partnership, St. Anthony’s High School, Hope House Ministries, and the Long Island Association.
