Station Yards in Ronkonkoma is kicking off the holidays this Saturday with a festive outdoor market and tree lighting.
The event, presented by Renewal by Andersen of Long Island, runs from 2 to 6 p.m. and features local vendors, live entertainment, family activities and free photos with Santa. The tree lighting is scheduled for 5 p.m., led by Santa and accompanied by a performance from Sparklers Baton Twirling.
Music from The Como Brothers will run from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by holiday tunes from Long Island Sound DJ Entertainment through 6:30. Organizers say the market is a chance to support small businesses while finding seasonal gifts and treats.
Visitors are also encouraged to bring a new toy for The Joseph JOJO Larosa Foundation’s JoJo Joy Toy Drive, which supports children and teens spending the holidays in the hospital.
