The Long Island Builders Institute, the largest homebuilding and remodeling trade group in New York State, has introduced its new slate of officers for 2024.
The new officers were inducted by Suffolk County Presiding Officer Kevin McCaffrey at LIBI’s board meeting and dinner held Wednesday, Jan. 10 at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook.
Martin Dettling of the Albanese Organization is LIBI’s new president, while the group’s former president Vincent Calvosa of the Calvosa Organization is now chairman.
“Martin Dettling brings a tremendous amount of skill, success and industry knowledge to the table and myself and the rest of the LIBI members look forward to working under his leadership to advance the interests of the homebuilding and remodeling industries on Long Island and across the state,” LIBI CEO Mike Florio said in an organization statement.
Other new officers include Anthony Bartone of Terwilliger & Bartone Properties, who becomes vice president; Robert Cartelli of Outstanding Plumbing & Heating is the new associate vice president; Jon Weiss of B2K Development is now treasurer; Ken Abrami of Tritec Real Estate is secretary; and Paolo Pironi of Pironi Homes is the group’s second vice president.
