Robert Kent, Esq. joined TRITEC Development Group in January of 2002. In addition to serving as TRITEC’s in-house legal counsel, Rob focuses on entitlement, acquisitions, environmental issues, due diligence leasing and business development.
Prior to joining TRITEC, Rob was a partner in Gibbs, Giden, Locher & Turner, LLP in Los Angeles, CA. He handled a broad base of commercial litigation with a concentration in construction, labor, environmental and employment law. After his successful fourteen year career in litigation, Rob stepped into his new role at TRITEC excited for the opportunity to create tangible benefits and enhance the quality of life for those who live and work within our communities. His passion for customer service and value creation along with his deep experience in negotiation, due diligence and finding alternatives has been an incredible asset to all of our projects.
Rob graduated from Brown University in 1984 with a BA in Economics and a BA in Organizational Behavior and Management. He graduated from Loyola Law School in 1989 with a Juris Doctorate. Rob also earned a Masters Degree in Real Estate Finance from New York University in 2009, bringing a unique, integrated approach to law, finances and real estate to his executive role on behalf of TRITEC.
Rob is admitted to practice law in California, New York and the District of Columbia. He also serves as a member of several state and local Bar Associations. He is currently a board member of The Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University and volunteers as Treasurer on the Board of the historic Old Field Club in Setauket, NY.
