Ronkonkoma’s growing Station Yards development just got a whole lot toastier.
Toast Coffee + Kitchen officially opened its newest café on Friday, marking the fifth Long Island location for the beloved brunch brand. The latest spot features a unique vintage train depot theme — a personal nod to owner Terence Scarlatos, who grew up just blocks from the site.
“We’re incredibly grateful and excited to bring our vision of Toast in an old vintage train depot to life at Station Yards,” said Scarlatos. “So it has been an amazing opportunity to be part of this from the ground up!”
Located steps from the Ronkonkoma LIRR station and right by the Village Green courtyard, Toast joins a bustling lineup of eateries in the heart of Station Yards, including VESPA Italian Kitchen & Cocktails, Lucharitos, The Pink Fin, Great South Bay Brewery and Tap Room.
Station Yards is a massive mixed-use project being developed by TRITEC Real Estate Company. When completed, it will include 1,450 apartments, 195,000 square feet of retail, 360,000 square feet of office space and a public plaza — all centered around the busiest train station in Suffolk County. The current phase features 388 apartments and 70,000 square feet of retail.
