A new lifestyle concept blending florals, beauty and wellness is coming to the heart of Ronkonkoma’s Station Yards.
Bloom, a florist-led business offering everything from custom arrangements to spa and salon services, is set to open at 3 Hawkins Avenue inside The Core, the walkable downtown district that runs along the Long Island Rail Road’s busiest station.
Owned and operated by Kerry Maher Weisse, Bloom is designed as a multi-service destination — combining a full-service florist with hair, spa and aesthetic offerings under one roof, an announcement reads.
The concept aims to bring together creativity and self-care in a single space, catering to both Station Yards residents and the surrounding community, according to the announcement. Bloom is expected to employ about a dozen professionals across floral design, hairstyling and aesthetics, with a particular focus on weddings and event services.
“Bloom is exactly the type of tenant we look to attract to Station Yards,” stated Meaghan Coughlan Treat, development manager at TRITEC, the Station Yards’ developer. “It’s experiential, community-focused, and complements both the residential population and the programming that takes place throughout The Core.”
