Ronkonkoma’s growing Station Yards neighborhood is preparing to welcome its next wave of residents — and Greater Long Island got a sneak peek inside.
Pre-leasing officially begins Saturday, March 14, for the second phase of The Core Apartments, a new 175-unit residential building rising in the heart of the mixed-use development next to the Long Island Rail Road station.
GLI was able to capture an early look at the spaces that will welcome residents in June — from a soaring lobby and rooftop lounge views, to recreation areas and shared amenities taking shape throughout the property. (Scroll down for photos.)
Prospective renters will be able to meet with the leasing team from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, tour a newly staged model apartment and learn more about available units. all while the big St. Pat’s bash happens right outside.
Tritec Real Estate Company, the developers, say the newest residences at The Core are being designed with “contemporary finishes and thoughtful layouts.” Once complete, the apartments will all feature stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, in-unit washers and dryers and spacious closets, along with balconies in select homes.
Outside the apartments, residents will have access to a wide range of shared amenities, including a resort-style pool with cabanas, an indoor basketball and pickleball court, fitness facilities with a sauna, two rooftop lounges, a private parking garage, a pet spa and outdoor gathering spaces including a hammock farm.
TRITEC also has a 3-bedroom, 2-bath model home all staged for Saturday’s pre-leasing event. According to online listings, rents at The Core currently range from about $3,100 to just over $5,100 per month depending on floor plan and availability.
