Overview
TRITEC Building Company built the Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under a Design-Build Contract for the Mather-St. Charles Hospital Health Alliance. TRITEC coordinated the design, permitting, financing, and construction management for the 120-bed, 81,000 sq.ft. project in Holtsville, Long Island, New York.
Amenities include sizeable comfortable resident/family lounges, a beauty parlor, a patio, a spacious dining room, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The center, along with its attached administrative wing, was constructed using a steel frame and a metal stud shell with brick veneer and Drivit finishes. The facility includes a medical gas system and dining facilities to accommodate all residents. A sewage treatment plant was built to handle waste discharge.
