Jimmy Coughlan is Co-President of TRITEC Real Estate Company, providing executive leadership and guiding the firm’s strategic direction, investment strategy, and long-term growth. He collaborates with senior leadership to advance key initiatives, strengthen capital relationships, and support the ongoing development of TRITEC’s integrated platform.

Alongside his cousin Kelley, Jimmy oversees the development, construction, and management mixed-use communities, multifamily residences, industrial parks, office buildings, hotels, medical facilities, R&D campuses, and industrial properties. He is involved in all phases of the development lifecycle, from site selection and acquisition to design, approvals, financing, joint ventures, construction, leasing, and asset positioning across millions of square feet.

Jimmy brings a strong financial and investment perspective, focusing on capital formation, deal structuring, and disciplined growth. Previously, he was an Investment Analyst at Colony Capital, Inc., where he underwrote complex transactions and evaluated opportunities across asset classes as part of the U.S. Direct Investments Team. This experience enables him to identify value, assess risk, and guide strategic investment decisions for TRITEC.

Growing up closely connected to TRITEC, Jimmy developed an early appreciation for the company’s community impact. He focuses on delivering projects that align financial performance with long-term community value, supporting TRITEC’s mission to create vibrant, lasting environments where people can live, work, and thrive.

Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the MacArthur Business Alliance.
