Kevin Law joining Tritec

Kevin Law, Bob Coughlan, and Robert Coughlan

Tritec, one of Long Island’s more prolific developers, has built several major projects in recent years, including the mixed-use New Village in Patchogue, the Shipyard in Port Jefferson, and the Dealertrack headquarters in North Hills. The company is in the midst of developing Station Square, a mixed-use project aimed at reimagining 50 acres around the Ronkonkoma Long Island Rail Road station and the 260-unit apartment complex called the Wel in Lindenhurst, which is slated to open soon.

Tritec principal Bob Coughlan said the addition of Law will help the company to secure development opportunities.

“We are very excited about having Kevin join our team,” Coughlan told LIBN. “Kevin Law has been a household name in the business and political community on Long Island, and in New York State, for many years. Kevin brings tremendous business and legal skills and incredible intangibles to Tritec. His leadership, integrity and problem-solving skills are a fantastic addition to our already stacked team. Kevin is a genuinely nice person, fun to be around, and will fit right into our culture at Tritec. We look forward to many years of working to strengthen Long island communities together.”

Law issued this statement on his new gig: “I look forward to helping Tritec revitalize Long Island downtowns and increasing the amount of workforce housing in our region, and thus I view this new challenge as a continuation of my commitment to public service while improving our regional economy and creating lots of jobs.”
