Richards of Greenwich

TRITEC was the Construction Manager from conception through land acquisition, design, permitting and construction for the Mitchell Family, High-end clothes retailers in the tri-state area. Richards of Greenwich was constructed on a challenging site, in downtown Greenwich, that is bordered by streets on 3 sides, and has an existing structures on the fourth. The project required blasting and rock removal to a depth of 30 feet in order to accommodate two levels, (48,000 sq. ft.), of sub-grade parking and 27,000 sq. ft. of exclusive retail space at street level and on a second floor.

High-end finishes included imported stonework and marble for walls and floors, Venetian plaster, herringbone wood floors, splayed ceilings, a glass elevator, hand crafted iron stair rails and extensive millwork.

The project was completed ahead of schedule and awarded the National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers, Store of the Year in 2001. TRITEC has also acted as Construction Manager and renovated Mitchell’s of Westport and Marshs of Huntington and Vineyard Vines of Greenwich for the Mitchells.
