New Village at Patchogue

TRITEC Development Group created New Village, a mixed-use residential development, which brings the principles of Smart Growth and New Urbanism to downtown Patchogue. TRITEC's goal for the project was to enliven the streets of Patchogue while providing civic amenities such as a Village Green, and enhance the urban fabric of the town and bring a 18-hour community to the “Four Corners”, the heart of Patchogue. An essential element of the New Village development is to promote an active, pedestrian friendly community.
Project Size:403,360 Sq. Ft.
Location:1 West Main Street, Patchogue NY 11772
Architect:Niles Bolton Associate

Building off the existing character of Main Street, New Village has reactivated the retail in Patchogue Village. The Shoppes at New Village feature awnings, storefronts and a streetscape program including street trees, decorative paving, and street furnishings.

Distinctively designed, the development embraces and enhances the context of the existing historic Main Street. A new icon will mark the key Four Corner’s intersection, capturing views to the waterfront and pointing towards Patchogue’s future.

TRITEC Building Company was the construction manager for the entire New Village project including the construction of 31 West Main Street. The construction is 4 and 5 stories high, wood frame over a concrete podium and structured parking.

New Village at Patchogue won a 2008 Smart Growth Award from Vision Long Island and the 2009 and 2014 Top Mixed Use Project Awarded given by the Long Island Business News.
