Robert J. Coughlan Principal
Mr. Coughlan co-founded TRITEC Real Estate Company in 1986 with his brother Jim. Together they have developed millions of square feet of property while building TRITEC into a premier project delivery company. They guide development, construction and management of mixed-use complexes, industrial parks, mid-rise office buildings, hotels, medical office buildings, R&D facilities, and industrial buildings. Mr. Coughlan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Northeastern University and attended New York University’s Real Estate Institute between 1982 and 1985. He serves on the boards of the Long Island Housing Partnership, St. Anthony’s High School, Montauk We Hope Cycling Tour and the Long Island Association.
James L. Coughlan Principal
Mr. Coughlan co-founded TRITEC Real Estate Company in 1986 with his brother Bob. Together they have developed millions of square feet of property while building TRITEC into a premier project delivery company. They guide development, construction and management of mixed-use complexes, industrial parks, mid-rise office buildings, hotels, medical office buildings, R&D facilities, and industrial buildings. A graduate of Brown University, Mr. Coughlan is Chairman of the Board of the Community Development Corporation of Long Island, a nonprofit that provides affordable housing assistance and community-based lending. He also serves on Stony Brook Medicines Development Council and is a Builder Director for the Long Island Builders Institute.
Daniel P. Coughlan Principal
Mr. Coughlan joined TRITEC Real Estate Company as a principal in 1997 and oversees the firm’s Washington, D.C., office and TRITEC projects in the D.C. area. Mr. Coughlan guides the development, construction and management of mixed-use complexes, apartment complexes, retail centers, industrial facilities and mid-rise office buildings. A 1988 graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Coughlan also holds a master’s degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University.
Robert T. Coughlan Chairman
Robert T. Coughlan, a principal and chairman of TRITEC Real Estate Company, is a successful investment banker highly regarded among real estate investors. He is president and founder (1996) of TRITEC Capital, LLC, and directs its real estate investment banking activities. Previously, he was president of real estate investment firm Richard A. Plehn, Inc., for 12 years. After beginning his career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, he was founder and president in the late 1970s of The Westport Company, a $300 million real estate investment trust. Mr. Coughlan is a graduate of Queens College with a master’s degree from Hofstra University. He currently serves as vice chairman of the Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University.
Robert Loscalzo Chief Operating Officer
Robert Loscalzo is Chief Operating Officer of TRITEC Real Estate Company. Rob also serves as Developer of Mixed Use Transit Oriented Redevelopment projects the Company has undertaken. Rob has been with the Company throughout its growth over the last 18 years. As COO, Rob is responsible for the operations of the TRITEC organizations, related to policies, best practices, and the attainment of operating performance goals. As Developer, Rob has been the Lead Developer of New Village at Patchogue. Rob has overseen the acquisition, entitlement, re-zoning, financing, construction and leasing of this downtown, mixed use, transit oriented, revitalization in the heart of the Village of Patchogue. Rob currently leads the redevelopment of the Ronkonkoma Station, a redevelopment project at the crossroads of Road, Rail and Air. Rob has provided the project vision, and oversees the entitlement, rezoning, design and construction, leasing and financing of the project. Rob is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where he earned a BA in Economics Management and Accounting. Rob received his Master’s Degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Robert E. Kent Vice President and General Counsel
Mr. Kent is vice president and general counsel of TRITEC Real Estate Company. He joined TRITEC Development Group in 2002 as a vice president and developer. Mr. Kent focuses on legal issues, entitlements, acquisitions, environmental issues, and leasing. Prior to joining TRITEC, he was a partner in Los Angeles law firm Gibbs, Giden, Locher & Turner, LLP, where he handled commercial litigation with a concentration in construction and employment law. Mr. Kent graduated Brown University in 1984 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in economics and organizational behavior and management, then earned his Juris Doctorate at Loyola Law School in 1989 and received a master’s degree in real estate finance from New York University. He is admitted to practice law in California, New York, and the District of Columbia, and is a member of several state and local bar associations.
Kenneth Abrami, LEED AP Vice President of Construction Operations
Mr. Abrami is a vice president of construction for TRITEC Building Company. He has been with the company since 1996 and is the principal point of contact for TRITEC’s customers, responsible for field operations in building projects according to each customer’s schedule, program, and budget. Specializing in preconstruction activity and project preparation for corporate development projects including feasibility studies, estimating, and leasing costs exercises he has overseen the completion of millions of square feet of commercial space. Prior to joining TRITEC, he was a project manager with Radon Construction Corporation and Ramcon Corporation. Mr. Abrami received a Bachelor of Science in architecture with a minor in construction management from New York Institute of Technology.
Martin A. DePasquale, AIA Vice President of Preconstruction Services
Mr. DePasquale is vice president of preconstruction services for TRITEC Real Estate Company, responsible for coordinating a streamlined preconstruction process for projects of TRITEC Building Company and TRITEC Development Group, as well as for TRITEC’s various clients. Prior to joining TRITEC Building Company in 2004, he was a principal at The Baldassano Architectural Group; he joined Baldassano in 1988, becoming an associate in 1992 and a principal in 1996. A New York State licensed architect since 1991, Mr. DePasquale received a Bachelor of Science in architectural technology with a minor in construction management from the New York Institute of Technology in 1986. He is a member of the Long Island chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Patricia Mayhew Vice President
Ms. Mayhew joined TRITEC Development Group in 2008. In her role as a Vice President, Trish is responsible for all functions of the land and vertical development process. Within her portfolio, Trish manages and oversees entitlement, budgeting, financing, design, permitting, acquisition, disposition, marketing & communications, and project specific governance structures. Trish holds a Master of Science degree from John’s Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland specializing in Infrastructure and Real Estate and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts holding a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Economics and Finance. Trish is a member of CREW NOVA and the Urban Land Institute. Trish has served on the Metropolitan DC Mortgage Bankers Association Board of Governors and is the co-founder of the Metro DC Women in Commercial Real Estate Finance Association (“WI-CREF”).
Tom Glatzel Vice President
Thomas Glatzel joined TRITEC Development Group in 2010 as a Developer. Mr. Glatzel’s primary focus is on entitlement, acquisitions and leasing of development projects. He provides analysis, guidance and recommendations on the development, planning and management of projects in the D.C. Metro market. Those evaluations, combined with his development strategies and extensive due diligence, help guide the company’s development project objectives. Mr. Glatzel graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2001 with a Bachelors of Business Administration/Finance and holds a Masters in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University.
Kelley Coughlan Senior Development Manager
Kelley Coughlan joined TRITEC Real Estate Company in 2014 and now serves as a Senior Development Manager. Kelley’s focus is on entitlement, acquisitions, financing, leasing, community engagement and business development projects. She provides financial analysis and due diligence on the development, planning and management of projects in the Long Island market. Prior to joining TRITEC, Kelley worked in New York for several years at Bloomberg L.P., where she served as a Deputy Manager in the Equity Analytics Department prior to becoming an Account Manager for equity buy-side clientele throughout Greater New York. Kelley also formerly worked for the Town of Nantucket, MA as a marine research technician on a shellfish propagation project that aimed at developing a more space-efficient and cost-effective method of restoring scallop and clam populations in the Nantucket Harbor. Kelley holds a Master of International Business degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, concentrating on the complexities that tie together international finance and environmental resource conservation. She also received a B.A. in International Studies with a focus on Economics and Chinese from Middlebury College.
Christopher Kelly Vice President of Marketing
Christopher Kelly is Director of Marketing for TRITEC Real Estate Company, Inc. and manages the entire TRITEC brand. Mr. Kelly joined TRITEC as Marketing Director in 2004. His current responsibilities include formal external or internal communication, with TRITEC’s stakeholders including employees, clients financial partners, municipal agencies, the general public and tenants. Mr. Kelly works closely with each department to help get their message out while insuring TRITEC’s image and brand are maintained in the process. Mr. Kelly studied design at Parson’s School of Design and New York Institute of Technology. Chris served on the Board of Mercy Haven, Inc. and as a Volunteer Soccer Coach for the Lake Grove Newfield Soccer Club.
